Hello people! I am SO excited to announce that I am participating in a blog hop for my fellow CCer's debut novel, Serving Time, coming out on May 16th!!!!!
For those who are just hopping on, here is a link to Nadine's blog for the book blurb!
The previous stop on the blog hop train was at Shane Jeffery's blog right: here : with a interview with Tristan, so stop on there to learn more about him before you read the sneak peek. :)

IT IS TIME. THE SNEAK PEEK OF TRISTAN CROSS IS HERE!!!! READ ON :)

Tristan rotated his wrists while he assessed his situation. Locked in the back room of a downtown deli with a pretty—not gorgeous, just pretty—female shopkeeper batting her eyes at him and trying to liquor him up. If the guy up front was her  husband, he might have a problem.

Quinn’s smile slowly faded. “So…tell me. What training do you have?”

Tristan stiffened. “What?”

“You went to school, right? Studied something?”

“Yeah…I’m a pilot. Interplanetary.”

“An interplanetary pilot! What a noble profession.” She tilted her head. “Yet here you are, doing other people’s dirty laundry. I hear you get paid to kill.”

Tristan’s heart skipped a beat, then jumpstarted with a growing fury. Prickly heat coursed down his arms. “I don’t know what lie you told the company to have them send me over, but I won’t stand here while you waste my time.” He turned to the console by the door and punched in random numbers. Maybe he’d get lucky for once and the door would pop open. Have hope, man. Hope would keep his mind off of his future. Off of the dark wave that waited just out of sight, licking its lips and preparing to pounce on him.

“How do you feel about them? About the people you killed, I mean.” Quinn’s voice made the bright overheads shine a little darker.

Tristan clenched his jaw and jabbed the buttons. The console had thousands of possible combinations. He’d never get out.

“Then there are the families, of course…” Quinn’s voice pounded like a fist against his back. “The grieving wives, husbands, and children. Ever give them any thought?"

The families. That group of unknown who had also suffered because of him. Their blurred faces haunted him every day. He swerved around, fist raised. “Open the fucking door, or I swear—”

Quinn gazed at him, her finger caressing the edge of her glass. “You swear what? You wouldn’t dare hurt the person who can save your life.”
:o
